Market, fishing village and seafront
Cros de Cagnes, our neighbourhood in Cagnes-sur-Mer
Cros de Cagnes is the old fishing quarter of Cagnes-sur-Mer, between Nice and Antibes. From Maison Floribel everything is within walking distance: the market, the church by the water, the restaurants and the beach.

Cros de Cagnes market
Tuesday and Thursday mornings, steps from the house
Maison Floribel is ideally placed just a short walk from the market, held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This picturesque market opens at 8 am and starts packing up around 12:30 pm.
The market sets up on Avenue des Oliviers and Place Léon Béranger. You will find fresh fruit and vegetables, tasty cheeses and charcuterie, as well as clothes and kitchenware.
Saint-Pierre church and the fishing village
A five-minute walk
Discover the charming little church by the sea, right next to the fishing village which is still active today. The neighbourhood’s authentic atmosphere is a refreshing contrast to the busier resorts of the Côte d’Azur.
All along the seafront road you will find plenty of restaurants, cafés and ice-cream shops: a refined meal, a friendly café or an artisan ice cream, there is something for everyone.

The seafront, on foot or by bike
From Nice to Antibes, via Cros de Cagnes
Whether you like a short stroll or a long walk, the coastline stretches from Nice to Antibes. Just head up Avenue des Oliviers and you are there.
Relax on the pebble beach and dive into clear water: locals here swim all year round. Check the water temperature before you go.
Don’t miss the ‘Dimanches Malins’, when the seafront becomes fully pedestrian for a peaceful stroll.

Getting around from the house
Bus stops and the train station are a 2-minute walk away and Nice Côte d’Azur airport is 4 km away, so the Riviera is easy to explore without a car.
